Gentle Floor Yoga with Nidra (HYBRID/Mokena & Virtual)
This class begins with a 40-45 minute gentle yoga practice that incorporates simple flowing sequences that focus on alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility. We will follow with Nidra; a guided form of meditation that is intended to induce total physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Call (708) 478-3529 to register for in-person attendance. Learning about Lymphedema (Virtual)
Lymphedema is an ongoing side effect that many women and men experience after some types of cancer treatment. In this presentation, we will learn what lymphedema is, how to prevent it, and how it is treated. Presented by Doctor of Physical Therapy, Lauren Mansell.
Moves That Matter (Homewood)
This class works on releasing tension, increasing flexibility, improving posture, coordination, injury prevention, pain management, and joint and gross stability. Each person works at their own pace and in their comfort zone. To attend this class in person please call 708-798-9171.
